Robertson to be Enshrined at Patriots Peace Memorial
LOUISVILLE, Ky . (Kentucky Today)
Lance Cpl. Kenneth Robertson of the U.S. Marine Corps knew at a young age he wanted to be a police officer.
Now, almost a year after his death, the Radcliff native is one of two individuals that will be enshrined at noon on Memorial Day at the Patriots Peace Memorial in Louisville.
The memorial “exclusively honors members of our armed forces, who have lost their lives in the line of duty, under conditions other than hostile action,” according to a news release.
The memorial has enshrined a total of 459 people from the region since 2002. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the memorial.
